OEIS Mission & Vision
Our Mission
“Our mission is to be the beacon and standard for outpatient endovascular and interventional medicine — uniting physicians around patient-centered care, uncompromising quality, and real accountability.”
Our Vision
We envision a future where outpatient endovascular and interventional care is recognized — by patients, payers, and policymakers alike — as the standard for safe, high-quality, accountable outpatient medicine.
1. Lead the Conversation on Outpatient Interventional Care
We see a future where policymakers and payers turn to us first to define what safe, effective outpatient endovascular and interventional care looks like. Today, we lead — often ahead of other societies — through our PAC, our relationships in Washington, and rapid response when regulatory changes threaten patient access with no warning. This is work we are already doing, and work we will continue to do.
2. Uncompromising Quality
We believe trust in outpatient care must be earned through data, transparency, and accountability — never assumed. We are building the standards, the evidence, and the verification that confirm outpatient care meets the highest bar in medicine.
3. Equal Access to Care
We believe all patients — regardless of sex, race, religion, or any other designation — deserve equal access to the highest quality of care, and that access should never be limited by exclusive contracts. We advocate for physicians who can verify appropriate training and credentials to have equal access to the facilities and equipment needed to deliver that care, regardless of specialty — and we oppose exclusive arrangements being used to deny staff privileges to qualified practitioners who fall outside them. Patients lose when access is restricted for reasons that have nothing to do with their care.
4. One Community Across Every Specialty
We believe outpatient endovascular and interventional care is strongest as one community, not a set of specialties divided by training background. We are uniting the specialties that define this field under a single standard and a single voice.
This is the future of outpatient endovascular and interventional medicine. Join us in building it.
