Representation in the Specialty and Service Society (SSS) recommended by AMA

Special OEIS Member Announcement
OEIS is proud to announce that the Rules Committee for the American Medical Association (AMA) has recommended that OEIS be granted immediate representation in the Specialty and Service Society (SSS).
The SSS is the largest caucus in the AMA House of Delegates (HOD). The SSS meets twice annually in conjunction with the Interim and Annual Meetings of the HOD.
The SSS groups in the HOD include:
- 122 national medical specialties
- 2 professional interest medical associations
- 5 military service groups
OEIS’s mission has been, and continues to be, to serve and support the outpatient endovascular & interventional community. We are proud of this accomplishment and will continue to move forward with representation in the SSS.
The report provided by the Rules Committee will be voted on Saturday, June 8, 2019 during the AMA Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.
